Compassionate Mind Training for Parents

Compassionate Mind Training (CMT) for Parents is an online psychoeducational program grounded in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). It is designed to empower parents emotionally and help them cultivate a more compassionate relationship with themselves
and their children.

Overview

Compassionate Mind Training (CMT) for Parents is a 7-week online psychoeducational program designed to support parents on the unique yet demanding journey of parenting. The program aims to strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships with oneself and one’s children and cultivate a more compassionate way of communicating and being present within the family.
Based on the work of Irons & Heriot-Maitland and inspired by the theory of Professor Paul Gilbert, CMT for Parents offers a safe and supportive environment to better understand how the mind works, learn to regulate difficult emotions and develop an inner attitude of kindness and strength toward loved ones.

develop greater understanding and empathy toward themselves and their children
decrease reactive behavior and aggression by learning to identify their emotions and express their needs in calmer, more collaborative ways
